JANUARY 2014 marks THE DOCTOR WHO PROJECT’S FIFTEENTH ANNIVERSARY.

To celebrate, The Doctor Who Project will be publishing a short mini-season consisting of three all new adventures in time and space in early 2014. With that in mind, we’d like to invite you to join us in celebrating our Fifteenth Anniversary.

We are now accepting story proposals from writers who would like to celebrate the anniversary with us. We are looking for 3 stories, (with a possible option of a fourth story), that celebrate both TDWP and Doctor Who – a quirky story, a scary story, an adventure story or even a straight up weird tales that engages and excites the reader. Take what made the series successful and write an exciting and original adventure.

Season 40: The Final Season will still feature the TDWP Tenth Doctor, however, companions Tom Brooker and Val Rossi will be departing the TARDIS lineup and we will be introducing new companion Hannah Redfoot in the final story of the season.

The focus of the mini-season will be to bring the story arc of season 39 to a conclusion with the departure of Tom and Val. The introduction of the new companion will be setting up a new direction for TDWP to take starting afresh and a new and to find new and exciting stories, should it be decided that the project return to publication in the future. The three story season should see the stories advance the following story arc. Writers are asked to develop stories that adhere to this arc.

When submitting story proposals…

  1. Please feel free to be as detailed as possible. The more detailed, or longer, a proposal, the more likely your story will be accepted for publication.
  2. Proposals should be attached to an email in a MS Word or Rich Text Format document.
  3. Proposals should include your full name and email contact.

The deadline for story proposals is September 7, 2013.
