New Brief Encounters Editor Appointed

May 28, 2017

The Doctor Who Project is pleased to announce the appointment of Richard Peevers as our new Brief Encounters Editor. Richard will be responsible for editing and commission of stories for the range, as well as overseeing the day-to-day activities. Richard contacted us out of the blue to see if the position was still open, which it was. He submitted his credentials with the view to being considered for the post. All of us on the Editorial Board were quite impressed with his qualifications, so after exchanging a few emails and having several conversations, we decided to offer the post to Richard, who was thrilled to become part of the team.

Richard is a writer currently living in Los Angeles, California, although he is originally from England. Recent writing has appeared in Black-Hearted Magazine and Pocket Notes, among others. In his time, Richard has also been a professor of Ancient Greek, a German translator, and a manager at Apple. When he is not writing, Richard can be found visiting weird roadside attractions with his beautiful wife. It remains Richard’s firm belief that The Ambassadors of Death is the greatest Doctor Who story of all time.

All of us here at TDWP are excited to welcome Richard to the team, as we’re sure all of readers will be as well.
